Types and Toxicity Levels of Pesticides: A Study of an Agricultural Area in Brebes Regency

Introduction: Previous studies found that young children, pregnant women, and farmers are at risk of pesticide exposure. Organophosphate pesticides detected in children’s urine, but other types pesticides, their toxicity classification, level have not been identified. Hence, this study aims to identify levels possible causes health problems an agricultural area. Methods: The population the were 1,017 households two villages area Brebes Regency, Indonesia. data collected from 166 participants using a cross-sectional design involving questionnaires characteristics respondents observations pesticide, packaging, residue houses. identified based on classification recommended by World Health Organization (WHO).
